My clients had brought their American king-sized mattress with them when coming to New Zealand. At 193cm x 203.5cm there were no off-the-shelf bed frames available. The task was to build a suitable slat bed frame to the clients specifications.
Subsequently the clients also commissioned the design and build of two night-stands (bedside cabinets)
Materials:
Timber: Acacia block board and pine slats
Drawer runners for night stands: Black Soft close Ball Bearing Drawer Runners, Full Extension 350mm (sourced via TradeMe)
