The challenge: All but three of the fences from a 30 year old Duplo set were broken and replacements were no longer available. Could I create duplicates?

The original Duplo pieces are made from ABS plastic so first I repaired the remaining (only partially broken) originals. A new design suitable for 3D printing was then created in Shapr3D and then two prototypes were 3D printed. After making minor modifications to the design (so they would clip together as the originals did), a total of 18 were 3D printed using a mix of ABS and PLA filament (due to the limited range of colours in stock).

Materials:

White ABS filament (4 fences)
Black PLA filament (12 fences)
